We suggest you make Basaga Hotel your base whilst in Kuching – its fairly central – being only 5 minutes taxi ride out from the heart of the city, whilst also being a mere 15 minute taxi ride from/ to Kuching airport.
Basaga is a very attractive, unique and thoroughly affordable boutique hotel (equivalent to 3 star) with some 34 bedrooms. It has an outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor bar, and a restaurant.
The restaurant offers a plentiful variety of local delicacies in addition to western foods so that all palates are thoroughly catered for.
You can of course upgrade to 4 or 5 star.
